A classically elegant medium-sized three-hand watch with a timeless classic format and subtle Art-Deco elements
The Watch
The Klassik 37 model is a classically elegant medium-sized watch meant for watch connoisseurs and lovers with narrower wrist, who value classic shapes without compromising on practicality. The case is inspired by the design of vintage wristwatches and, in the tradition of our instrumental watches, is equipped with sapphire glass and a screw-fastened sapphire back. The dial underlines the elegant character of this Guinand watch.
Due to the slightly regressed middle of the dial, the dial appears plastic and emphasizes the reduction to the pure time display.
The Dial
The dial is called “the face” of a watch. In design and construction, we have therefore placed particular emphasis on high-quality execution. In an elaborate design process, we selected exactly this shade of blue from the range of possible shades of blue, which is somewhat reminiscent of ultramarine blue.
For the "BLACK" version, we only considered the highest possible dial surface - a galvanically black dial with a slightly gloss - because galvanically black dials are, so to speak, the premier class of dial design.
Both dials have a circular recess in the middle of the dial, which gives the plastic effect of the reduced dial design an additional elegance.
The Movement
For the Klassik 37 we use the Ronda "mecano" series 100. Factory manufacturer is Ronda from Lausen in Switzerland, like Guinand a family owned company.
The development of the movement started in 2011 and the movement was presented for the first time at Baselworld in 2016. Technically, the movement is up to date with a unidirectional winding, quick date adjustment, second stop and 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The Housing
With a diameter of 37.5 mm, the 3-part stainless steel case of the Klassik 37 belongs to the rather compact case constructions - for watch connoisseurs and lovers with narrower wrist.
The middle part of the case and the base are completely satin, the grooved bezel is highly polished. A flat sapphire crystal protects the front of the case. The crown is unscrewed for optimal ease of use.
