We congratulate Mr. Helmut Sinn on his Birthday

We congratulate Mr. Helmut Sinn, pioneer in Pilotwatches and Frankfurter Watch tower institution for his 100 Birthday!

Flight instructor and rally driver - that was Helmut Sinn with great passion before with the same dynamism and determination he founded his own watch company from the mid-50s. One can safely say that he with his often unconventional and innovative ideas had a lasting influence on the marketplace for pilotwatches in Germany. Even when having sold his company in 1994, the ideas not dried up. Therefore, he started after a short break in his adopted hometown of Frankfurt again with the production of watches, under the brands Chronosport and Guinand.

Although now retired, Mr. Sinn is still active e.g. frequently visiting Guinand offices in Frankfurt / Rödelheim by private car.

We wish him well in 101 years, the "unrest" which has already been driven him and look forward to the 101st-, 102nd and 103rd birthday - because well-informed know to report that his intent to be of 103 years old is still considered.
