The Watch
The Klassik COLOR model is a classically sporty timepiece designed for watch enthusiasts—particularly those with slimmer wrists—who value classic aesthetics without having to compromise on everyday practicality. In keeping with the tradition of our instrument watches, the Klassik COLOR model is equipped with a sapphire crystal and a screw-down case back featuring a full-thread design.
The dial underscores the sporty character of this Guinand watch. Thanks to a slight recess in the center of the dial, the face takes on a three-dimensional quality, emphasizing a design philosophy focused on the pure display of time.
The Dial
The dial is the face of a watch. Consequently, during the design and construction phases, we placed particular emphasis on high-quality execution. From a wide spectrum of potential colors, we selected two distinctive shades through an elaborate design process. The matte finish of the dial surface further accentuates the unique character of these colors.
Both dials feature a circular recess at the center, lending an added touch of elegance to the sculptural quality of the minimalist dial design.
The Case
With a diameter of 37.5 mm, the three-part stainless steel case of the Klassik 37 Sport ranks among the more compact case designs—ideal for watch enthusiasts with slimmer wrists.
The case middle and case back are entirely satin-finished, while the fluted bezel is highly polished. The front of the case is protected by a flat sapphire crystal. For optimal ease of use, the crown is non-screw-down.
The Night View
For the numerals on the Klassik COLOR, we use the currently most powerful luminescent pigment: SuperLuminova Grade X2 GL. This ensures excellent legibility, even in the dark.
The Movement
At the heart of the Klassik COLOR beats the proven Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement. This automatic caliber is fitted in a gold-plated finish, combining classic mechanical craftsmanship with modern reliability. The rotor bears the individual limited-edition number of each watch.
At Guinand, every movement is finely regulated in five positions after installation to ensure the highest level of timekeeping accuracy. Finally, each HS109 undergoes a multi-day timing test before leaving final inspection—a process that reflects the uncompromising quality philosophy of our manufacture.
The Strap
Alcantara
For the Klassik COLOR, we have developed an exclusive watch strap made of Alcantara® in a ladies' length—soft to the touch, yet robust enough for everyday wear. Alcantara is a high-quality synthetic microfiber material that feels like suede and is prized for its durability, ease of care, non-slip properties, and luxurious appearance; it is lighter than genuine leather, though also more expensive. Both the upper and lower sides of the strap are crafted from this material.
The Alcantara fabric is manufactured exclusively in Italy. We have the straps produced in a German manufactory, crafted according to our own designs.
Size comparison
Based on the size values, it is not easy to decide whether the watch fits the wrist, or whether it is too big or too small. To make your decision easier, we have mounted the watch on three different wrist widths that correspond to the usual sizes.
How to determine the correct strap length?
Please note that the wrists shown can only give you an approximate impression of the watch on your wrist, as the shape of the wrist is different for everyone, even if they have the same circumference.
